A Multilateral Character

Apostolia Papadamaki is an internationally acclaimed choreographer and director, renowned for her transformative events worldwide. With deep creativity, innovation, and a strong connection to her Ancient Greek lineage, she excels in conceptualizing, choreographing, and directing large-scale artistic projects, corporate events, opera, and film productions.

Her life project, Anamnesis, merges ancient mysticism with contemporary performance, integrating Ancient Greek Mythology, Philosophy, and History into site-specific, participatory performances at Greece's archaeological sites. This project transforms performances into meaningful, shared experiences by evoking remembrance and deeply engaging audiences. Apostolia pioneered the world's first underwater dance performance at the Temple of Poseidon, which gained global recognition for its artistic, humanitarian, and environmental significance. Her other notable works include "Synergy," the 12th Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony in Athens, and "From Darkness To Light," the first overnight experiential performance at a Greek archaeological site.

In addition to her artistic achievements, Apostolia has served on the Board of Directors at The Athens Concert Hall and as President of the State School of Dance. She has also led several EU Creative Europe programs, fostering international artistic collaborations.

As the founder of The Happiness Retreat, Apostolia combines ancient Greek mysticism and healing traditions with embodied spirituality practices in her workshops and retreats, offering holistic and transformative experiences.
